Kerpoof!

Kerpoof is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company, and is for grades K-8. Kerpoof encourages creativity by offering these types of activities: make artwork; make an animated story; tell a story; make a drawing. Lesson plans are provided on Master Artists, Math & Science, Language Arts, and social Studies, with more lessons added monthly, all linked to the National Nets Standards. Students can show their creativity on this fun website. It allows students to create pictures, stories and even movies. There is a wide variety of choices for scenes, characters, props, etc. Under Classroom Ideas you will find Story Starters, Genre Writing, Reading Comprehension, Social Studies, Biology, and Math. On the site there is an entire forum dedicated to ideas of how to use Kerpoof in the classroom. Users may select seven different languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese).

Set up your own FREE Teacher Account. After you register, you’ll gain access to a range of easy-to-use administrative tools. You’ll be able to register all your students, manage their accounts according to class, and control access to collaborative features. Once you get your student accounts set up, users will have access to the Group Message Board, Kerpoof Chat/Buddy Draw.
